Recovery is evidence-led, not guaranteed
A device can be readable enough to reconstruct most folders while individual files remain damaged. It can also appear completely dead while the underlying data is still recoverable. Diagnosis establishes which situation applies; the brand or symptom alone cannot do that.
Permanent limits include overwritten storage locations, severe platter damage, inaccessible encryption keys and flash blocks already cleared after deletion. Continued use, repair utilities and repeated power cycles can reduce the remaining opportunity.
Define a useful result
Before diagnosis, name the folders, file types or individual documents that matter most. We assess the likelihood of a complete recovery and, if that is unlikely, whether a useful partial result remains possible. The quote or agreed range is provided before recovery work begins.
