Repair does not remove encryption
On a modern phone, the storage chip does not contain a set of ordinary readable files. Hardware-backed encryption ties access to the original device and its security state. Repairing power, charging or board faults can sometimes make the phone usable again, but the correct credential is still normally required.
Do not reset the phone
Official forgotten-passcode routes commonly restore access to the device by erasing it. That is useful when the phone matters more than its local contents, but it is the wrong first action when the data is the priority. Stop guessing if the device imposes delays or wipe limits, and tell us what happened before booking.
